Restoring function, not just appearance
Restorative treatment repairs damaged or missing teeth so you can speak, eat, and smile comfortably again.
Restoration dentistry covers several procedures that repair oral health after decay, damage, or tooth loss — each suited to a different situation.
- Bridges — a row of artificial teeth anchored to your natural teeth on either side, filling the gap left by one or more missing teeth.
- Crowns — a full-coverage cap cemented over a damaged or heavily restored tooth to restore its shape and strength.
- Implants — a titanium post that replaces the root of a missing tooth, with a crown attached on top.
- Fillings — the standard treatment for a cavity, once decay has been removed.
- Inlays & onlays — cast restorations, generally stronger than a conventional filling, cemented in place over two appointments.
If a cavity is caught too late for a filling alone, root canal therapy or extraction may be needed instead — another reason regular checkups matter. Twice-yearly visits give us the best chance of treating problems with the simplest option available.
