What a visit includes
- Exam & assessment — a full check of your teeth and gums for early signs of decay or disease.
- Scaling & cleaning — careful removal of plaque and tartar, including hard-to-reach spots.
- Polishing & flossing — surface stains polished away, finished with a thorough floss.
- Optional fluoride treatment — recommended in some cases to strengthen enamel.
Before your visit
Brush and floss beforehand to clear loose food particles. If you're scheduled for a fluoride treatment, we'll let you know if there's anything to avoid eating or drinking right after.
